Eye Studio Sampler / Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Colour Mascara

I received this eye sampler as a wonderful gift at Christmas time. I admit I love false lashes more then anything else and often wear them on the daily, and yes I said daily. I love make up and more importantly love long thick lashes with a bold lip as my every day look. But sometimes I do just wear mascara and when I am wearing mascara alone I am VERY particular on what I like and use. I have used many, many mascaras...in all price ranges and my top three brands are Dior, Maybelline and Lancôme. Even though those brands are the crème du crème for mascaras in my opinion, I am always seeking and trying new brands just to make sure I’m not missing out.

But back to the eye sampler in this set you receive 6 deluxe size samples of mascaras so you can try them all out and whatever one ticked your fancy you receive a coupon of free full size mascara. The brands are Shiseido, Clairns, Elizabeth Arden, Benefit, Lancôme and Smashbox. Below I have rated the mascaras brand performance and ranked them out of 5 –

         Shiseido – Perfect Mascara Full Definition               

Designed for short and fine lashes it’s easy to handle brush gives length and volume to the shorts lashes. Smudge proof removes easily

3-in-1 eye opening mascara. Has Blue Prism Technology that brightens for a wide-eyed effect. Flakes and formula was runny creating a mess

Out of all six mascara Lancome and Elizabeth Arden were my favorite. Lancome mascara I gave a 5 out of 5 because I think Lancome is a top leader when it comes to performance, although I didn’t pick it I got the best results.  I ended up going with Elizabeth Arden because I was really surprise how good it made my lashes look and it’s not a brand that I ever use. I really like the length and the fullness I get from this product on my lashes. The wand takes a little getting use to. The bristles pack a lot of mascara; I found it stays on all day, and gives beautiful long sexy lashes. It is comfortable for all day wear and comes off easily at night. 4 out of 5 stars because the bristles on wand need a little work!

MINI BODY SHOP HAUL-

I recently went to The Body Shop because I have been eyeing their Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Balm but ended up with a little extra goodies as well.

Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Balm-

This cleansing balm is designed to remove makeup and impurities away and leaving your skin feeling clean refreshed.

I personally love The Body Shop skincare and use their Tea Tree Oil face wash daily for years now, but this particular product blows me away. This is the best cleanser I ever bought. No other cleanser has ever removed makeup as gentle or as effective as this one. Just like the description says, it literally melts away the makeup, even on the eye area, and it doesn't sting or blur the eyes. It leaves my skin is smooth and silky. Not greasy or oily at all! Just a little bit goes a long way, so the price is well worth it. I love the pleasant smell too. I will definitely buy this again and encourage you ladies to try it out.

Strawberry Eau De Toilette-

In the past I have bought and used the body mist in Strawberry and just love the scent. It’s very light and wearable not over powering at all. The strawberry scent is very sweet and fruity and the toilette contains strawberry extract, which is a nice feature. But the bottle is a third the size of the body spray, and they work the exact same, but this costs more and comes with way less. The smell is gone within 10 minutes honestly. So when I run out of the toilette I repurchase the body mist instead.

Vitamin C Energizing Face Spritz-

I love this product. It's quick and easy to use - just spritz it on your face when your skin is feeling dull and you will instantly have a radiant glow! TIP- this product also works great as a setting spray after you applied you makeup it locks it in place and doesn’t make you look matte at all!

Clinique Review

Just a few weeks ago Clinique was on GWP (gift with purchase). Which is a promotion when you purchase a certain dollar amount (in this case $31.00 or more) you receive a gift, which contains deluxe sizes of their products. Below are reviews and my thoughts on the items I purchased- 

Eye Defining Liquid Liner-

First off I just couldn't get a nice fine line with this product. I found it was difficult to apply the product it dries before you're finished working on the eye.
 It goes on thickly and wears off in an hour or lasts 8 hours depending on what other makeup I am wearing. Sad to say I’m not impressed with this eyeliner.

Bottom Lash Mascara-

The small wand makes it so much easier to reach all the lashes on my lower line and it’s also good for reaching the smallest lashes in the corner of the eye. Makes my bottom lashes voluminous looking and gives them more length. I highly recommend it but its not a must have.

Review on Capture Totale Foundation

I've used many different foundations and even though this one is a bit pricey it is phenomenal.  The foundation goes on like a dream, feels soft and leaves a nice finish (not too matte and not too glowy - just in between). It looks really natural and feels hydrating too.
 The next day, I notice that my skin feels good too.

This foundation is a little bit on the expensive side retailing $85.00 but its quality is a lot better then most foundations. You only need the tiniest amount too! But overall, the foundation did stay put. I have stopped using this foundation everyday and now I’m just saving it for special events but this foundation can be used everyday due to the light-medium coverage it gives. I think this foundation is a brilliant buy and I will repurchase it in the future!

Review on - Joico K-PAK Products!

I recently purchased Joico K-PAK shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioning treatment and so fair I’m loving the results.

My hair feels well conditioned and silky but not weighed down with this. It makes my hair feel so much better. Smooth, shiny, stronger. My hair is extremely fine textured and prone to protein loss and breakage. 

I haven’t been using to for long so I can’t say it helped hair loss and breakage but the overall quality of my hair has improved greatly. Are you a deep condition fanatic like myself? If so, what products do you love let me know in the comments below!
